Integration example Type EWT 300

This fully automatic MAFU system is a very interesting solution from an economic point of view for the untangling and assembly of springs with open limbs for the production of disposable injectors in medical technology. With a cycle time of 2 seconds per installed spring, the system is designed as a “high-performance” system.

Pre-untangling unit:
The interlocked springs are pre-untangled by the MAFU untangling drum and then the conveyor line is loaded.

Position detection:
If the springs are incorrectly positioned, a high-speed handling system with a rotary gripper aligns the torsion spring with the open end and thus processes both preferred positions.

Feeding and alignment to the assembly table:
The springs reach a round table for assembly through a coiled 90 degree arc segment.
